The benefits of reading Surah Maeda (The Table-Spread)
Assalam oalaikum,
If a person is facing scarcity of food and wishes that Allah (swt) may enhance his sustenance then he should recite Surah Maeda, verse no 114, 7 times. Once the prayer gets answered it is compulsory to thank Allah (swt)
If a couple does not have any children then Surah Maeda, verse no.17 (starting from Walillahi-mulkus-samawati..) should be read 300 times till a period of 41 days. After reciting it, blow on something sweet which should be shared by both the husband and wife.
If someone’s husband is having an illicit affair with another woman or if he brings home money earned by unlawful ways then such a man can be controlled with the help of Surah Maeda. The method is to read verse no.100 of this Surah 141 times, till a period of 11 days. After reciting this verse it should be blown over something edible and given to the man who has gone astray. Inshallah, he will come back to his senses, very soon.
