The superiority of Al-Quran -4
Assalam oalaikum
Allah (swt) says in the Quran, ‘We send down (stage by stage) in the Quran that which is healing to those who believe…’ (TMQ-17:82).
In this verse we find that Quran has been revealed on Prophet Mohammad (saw) by Allah (swt) as a healing for mankind.
‘And We have indeed made the Quran easy to understand and remember. (TMQ-54:17)
This verse shows us that it is Allah (swt)’s will that we memorize the Noble Quran, besides understanding it. For this purpose Allah (swt) has made it easy for us. The words have been connected with a smooth and beautiful flow so that memorizing it becomes easy. Unlike other books which may make us weary if we go on reading them repeatedly Al-Quran is an engrossing book. The more we read it the more reward shall we get and the more knowledge shall we seek. Recent scientific research shows that if the brain is exposed to certain sound waves, it reacts either positively or negatively. There are some specific frequencies which create positive vibrations in the brain cells. Listening to Quranic recitation is the best sound therapy. It helps to rebalance the brain cells and increase their potential. (contd)
