Assalam oalikum,
Sheikh Abdul Muhsin ibn Naasir ibn Abdur Rahman aal Ubaykaan was born in
1372 hijri in the city of. At present he is based in Riyadh.
He had studied tajweed under the guidance of Shaykh Muhammad Makhdoom al-
Bukhari and Shaykh Muhammad Sakr.
Amongst his mashaykh are Shaykh Abdul Azeez ibn Baaz and Shaykh Abdullah
ibn Muhammad ibn Humaid.
He is a graduate in Sharia from the Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic
University (Riyadh).
Since 1426 hijri Shaykh Abdul Mohsin Al-Obaikan has been a member of the
Council of Senior Scholars. He also holds many important posts in Saudi Arabia's
judiciary such as the Judge of the Supreme Court in Riyadh and judicial positions
in Taif and Hail. In 1430 hijri he was recruited as an adviser at the Royal Court
where he was offered a Ministerial position.
