Islam’s important role in eradicating social evils - 14
Assalam oalaikum,
Islam has strictly prohibited racism in any form. Islamic teachings can serve the purpose of wiping off the evil of racism from the face of the world. Islamic teachings, if practiced throughout can make the world a better place to live. This is because Islam is the latest and the last religion of this world and it is here to stay forever.
Prophet Jesus said in John 16:12, ‘I have yet many things to say unto you but you ye cannot bear them now’.
This verse implies that many facts were withheld by Prophet Jesus. These facts were meant to be revealed by Allah (swt) later on when the time was ripe.
The time when Allah (swt) has made starling revelations about His Creations was when the world was about to witness unparalleled advancements in the field of science and technology. Certain truths and signs of Allah’s miracles have been understood almost 1400 years after their revelation. Many more facts are yet to be fully understood. So we find that Al-Quran was revealed by Allah (swt) at a time when mankind was ready (or at least about to get ready) to be able to understand the intricacies of Allah (swt)’s wonderful Creations. So Quran is the most advanced of all the religious texts. In the present age, mankind has attained that level of intellect through scientific advancements that they can understand the facts about geology, embryology, astronomy and other sciences mentioned in the Holy Quran, fully or partially.
The Holy Quran contains the essence of Allah’s entire Creations, right from the beginning of the universe till its very end and everything which lies in between. So it is exhaustive and complete in itself.
Therefore, after the revelation of Allah (swt)’s Final Word there is no need left for us to look anywhere beyond the Quran.
