What is the Lowhe Mahfoozh and Baitul Ma'moor? (part-2)
Assalam oalaikum,
One day Allah (swt), the all-powerful and all-knowing, beckoned Jibreel alaihis-salaam, who is the chief of Angels. So powerful was the impact of this summoning that the seven heavens trembled and all the Angels became unconscious. Jibreel at one reported before Allah (swt) who commanded Jibreel to go to the Lowhe Mahfoozh and learn by heart the entire Quran.
Through the motivation of Allah (swt), Jibreel memorized the whole Quran. Then Allah (swt) instructed him to shift the Quran to a place situated in the first heaven, which is known as Baitul Ma'moor or Baitul-Izzah.
Amazingly, the building of Baitul Ma'moor is located in the first heaven, directly above The Holy Ka'ba, in Makka. Baitul Ma'moor is the Ka'ba of the Angels/ Malaaikah in heaven. Every day 70,000 angels perform tawaaf of The Baitul Ma'moor. What is amazing is that they do not get a second chance to make tawaaf. This also tells us something about the mind boggling number of the Angels in this universe and the Supreme power of Almighty Allah (SWT).
