Assalam oalaikum,
The word grape is mentioned in Al-Quran several times thereby stressing the importance of the fruit. Ibn al-Qayyim, a great Muslim scholar has mentioned in his Al-Tibb Al- Nabawi or The Prophetic Medicine that grapes have been mentioned in the Quran six times as a fruit of this world and also of Jannah and he has classed them along with figs and dates as- ‘the chief of fruits’.
Here are the verses of Quran in which grapes have been mentioned:
And He it is Who sends down water from the cloud, then We bring forth with it buds of all (plants), then We bring forth from it green (foliage) from which We produce grain piled up (in the ear); and of the palm-tree, of the sheaths of it, come forth clusters (of dates) within reach, and gardens of grapes and olives and pomegranates, alike and unlike; behold the fruit of it when it yields the fruit and the ripening of it; most surely there are signs in this for a people who believe. Al-Anaam, Chapter #6, Verse #99)
Then there will come after that a year in which people shall have rain and in which they shall press (grapes). Yusuf, Chapter #12, Verse #49)
