Assalam oalaikum
Allah (swt) has promised to protect the Quran in 15:9. Allah (swt) says, ‘We have no doubt send down the message and we shall assuredly guard it (from corruption).
1400 years have passed by but miraculously Quran remains the same and as Allah (swt) has promised mankind Quran will remain unaltered till the Doomsday. Quran has been painstakingly kept in its original state and great contributions have been made by the Sahaba (ra) in performing the Herculean task of compiling the Quran. In my post ‘How the Holy Quran was written and compiled? Part -1’ I have discussed the endeavor that has gone into maintaining the originality of the Quran. Allah (swt) has kept His Word and till ate, we find no discrepancies or corruption in it.
On the other hand, the earlier Divine texts have been distorted and a plethora of discrepancies, scientific errors and mathematical contradictions have been found in the Bible. For example:
‘Basha, he died in the 26th year of reign of Asa (First kings, chapter# 15, verse #33).
‘Basha invaded Judah in the 36th year of his reign of Asa (2nd Chronicles, chapter# 16, verse #1)
This is a huge error because how can the soul of a dead person invade any place?
